The Olimpick Stage - Folk Concerts

As part of the London 2012 Festival our Games will host the world premier of the Olympic Welcome Songs and the Hill will have its first full sound stage.
There will be a programme of folk music running from 4pm featuring several guest artists and groups.
The finale at 7pm will be the first performance of a suite of "Welcome Songs" written as a prelude to the opening of the London Olympics. The songs will be performed by Eliza Carthy, the well known folk singer, supported by I Faglioini with Robert Hollingworth and 150 local choristers lead by Richard Stephens, Director of Music at St James's Church.
