Parking in Campden can be difficult at the best of times, but on Games night it can be hard to find a spot as road closures will preclude parking on the High Street. Avoid bringing a car if you can but, unfortunately, public transport does not provide a viable alternative. If you do park in the town, buses are available to take you up to the Games.

There are three parking options:

  • School Car Park – free of charge – open from 2pm
  • Games Car Park – adjacent to the Dover’s Hill Games with a charge of £2 per car. Open from 2pm.
  • Street parking – please do not block the roads or driveways

See Directions for how to find these car parks. Please remember the High Street will be closed to cars from 4pm on 1 June. All cars must be moved from the High Street by that time.

School Car Park

This free car park has a capacity of 150 cars and will be open from 2pm. It can be reached from Cidermill Lane as per Directions. To get to the Town Square go straight ahead from the car park exit with the church on your left and follow Church Street down to the High Street. Turn left and the town Square is 100 yards on your right.

Games Car Park

This car park is adjacent to the Dover’s Hill Games and you can enter close to the crossroads of Kingcombe Lane and Dyer's Lane for £2 per car. It has a capacity of 500 cars. If you decide to join the Torch Procession into Chipping Campden there will be a shuttle bus taking passengers back up to the Games Car Park from 10.30pm to 12.30am on payment of £1 cash (50p for children).
