Campden to the Games
The Games site is one mile uphill from the Square in Chipping Campden.

Buses

If you don't fancy the walk, buses will run from 6pm to 9pm to take you from the Town Square and back again for the small charge of £1 for adults and 50p for children (5 to14) return, under 5's free. Tickets for the bus must be purchased in the Square before you get on. After 9pm you will need to walk if you wish to return to the town (in the procession if you want).

Walking

For walkers the route is marked on our map. From the Town Square, face the King’s Arms and turn left. At the Catholic Church turn right up West End Terrace and follow the Cotswold Way signs up Hoo Lane. Half way up Hoo Lane becomes a footpath/bridleway and rather steep before it meets Kingcombe Lane where you turn left along the road. After 30 yards take the footpath on your right which takes you onto Dover’s Hill. Turn left at the gate and the entrance to the Games is ahead of you, to the left of the stage.

If you wish to walk back to your car after the Procession and Square entertainment, you can do so by the same route but you will need an electric torch as the upper sections are not lit. When you reach Kingcombe Lane walk along the road for 300 yards to arrive at the Car Park Entrance/Exit. Please be careful of traffic as you walk along this unlit road.
